Kandinsky is one of the founder of abstract art, he was born in Moscow in 1866. From he was young, he was influenced by his parents, he learned the piano and cello. It also influenced some part of his art works.

In 1886, he enrolled at the University of Moscow to study law and economics, and after he graduated he become a law professor.
However, when he was 30, Kandinsky left Moscow and went to Munich to study life-drawing, sketching and anatomy, regarded then as basic for an artistic education.
In 1911, a new group of German artists began exhibiting their work to the public. Der Blaue Reiter was to become the high point of German Expressionism, but it also opened the way towards abstraction with its stand for free experimentation and originality. Kandinsky, the most influential member of the group, who is most often credited with the distinction of painting the first “abstract” picture, in 1910. Until he death, he still quest new form.
I think from his earlier art work, we can see it seems different feeling, It looks not very abstract as his later art work. That is because he always try to find some new forms , to create new art. One thing is not change is the color, it always be an important part of his art work, like he said color is the Keyboard.
