Summary
This is an article about how can designer change abstraction moment to new product with their creative thinking and a simple question which is "Clocks make sense, but time is an abstract concept.". This project was created by UVA(UnitedVisualArtist) and installed at London 2012. Name is "Always / Never". It was constricted with a lot of triangle shapes of grid and each part of grid can not only make light, but also change value and color of the light. UVA found their own answer through Always / Never.
Opinion
Why I chose this installation exhibit is that it is one of the good example of idea. Time never stops and it can't be a specific thing. Time is closely connected with natural and UVA designed it with abstract idea. Time has tons of senses during day and night times and they simplify this process with shadow of triangle shapes of grids and shifting colors. Because of their exhibition, I can understand how to use abstract thinking as concept of my major.

Hi guys~ Lee, you need some practice with question form! There is trouble with did/does + base form of the verb in #1 and #2. Also, next time please choose an article with a little more content.
ReplyDeleteCheng, good answers, but a bit brief. When talking about your opinion, be sure to explain further. Why do you like it? Yes and no is a good start, but the why is really key!
